Alfine A860 Athena Flagship Dual Mechanism Massage Chair

Only complaint is I’m 6’1 and it feels a little short, otherwise awesome

I am thrilled to share my feedback on my new Alfine A860. From the second of ordering the massage chair to delivery, the experience was flawless. Melanie and her team are absolutely the best. The quality, of the chair, is top notch. I cannot say enough positive comments about the actual chair. I have no negative comments about the quality build on the chair. With saying all the positive accolades, on the chair, I feel it necessary to provide feedback on the electronics, on the Alfine A860. To be direct and at this point in time, the electronics are sub-par for such a quality built chair. The Voice Response Control, (a.k.a. Alice) needs to be completely overhauled. “Alice” will respond when you don’t even ask “her” to respond to your command. Your voice commands mean absolutely nothing. If you press the microphone button, located on the left arm rest, “she” will work sometimes, to your command. Sometimes, when you say,“massage on”, “Alice” will say “massage close”. It’s strange, but true. It’s frustrating, to say the least. As I have been advised, Alfine will be releasing a new update at the end of April 2026 where the A860 will be controlled by Amazons Alexa and “Alice” will be replaced. That certainly sounds promising. In todays time of AI assistance programs, such as Siri and Alexa, there should be no excuse where a high end product should have a sub-standard electronic component like the one that exists now. The Bluetooth speakers are very nice and no distortion occurs when used. I spent countless hours researching various massage chairs and decided to move forward with the Alfine A860. I truly feel that after the new enhancement with Amazons Alexa replacing “Alice” at the end of next month, the Alfine A860 will outshine the others in its competition, like Osaki. Thank you!

Wife loves the massage chair

Sept 4th, 2025. We just received the Alfine A860 massage chair last week. Everything went smooth and straight forward. Big thank to Mrs. Melanie Nicholson, she just joints the company not long ago and is very helpful.
The chair came in 2 heavy boxes. I did check the condition of boxes and they are not damaged. Melanie then texted me the schedule of assembly guys which was in the next day, so they can come and put the massage chair together and test it right before they left.
I can not say enough how beautiful the chair is from the good smell of a 100% real leather!. There's a lot of bells and whistles functions that my wife and I are still learning it everyday... But so far so good.
Recommended this chair to whom does care more about quality build than budget cost.

Overall love this chair only complaint is i wish you could set/change option before the session actually started.
